Wingello is a small village in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales situated on the main southern railway and approximately 7 kilometres east of the Hume Highway. It is the most southern village in the Wingecarribee Shire Council area and has an approximate population of 360 residents. There are approximately 165 houses and they are situated either within the village zoning or surrounding rural areas.
